This long-run iron roof had developed extensive surface rust, leaving it vulnerable to ongoing corrosion. Instead of replacing the roof, TECTUM completed a full restoration using the Rust-Oleum Noxyde® system. After thorough cleaning and preparation, a multi-layer elastomeric waterproofing membrane was applied directly over the oxidised steel. Designed to bond to rust without the need for primers or converters, Noxyde encapsulates the corrosion and forms a flexible, fully sealed protective barrier, extending the life of the roof for many years to come.

This residential roof contained ageing Super 6 Asbestos. Instead of undertaking full Asbestos removal, TECTUM completed a professionally managed encapsulation, sealing sheet laps and penetrations, stabilising the substrate, and applying a multi-layer elastomeric waterproofing membrane designed to lock fibres in place and prevent further degradation. The result is a fully sealed, stabilised, and compliant roof system designed to provide long-term protection without the disruption and cost of removal.
